We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Creative Editor to join our small but growing team. This is a hands-on role where you will be at the forefront of creating compelling direct-response video content for a select group of exciting clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, an eye for creative storytelling, and the ability to strategically manage the full lifecycle of video ad production. As a Creative Editor, in collaboration with Media Buyers and Creative Strategists, you will be responsible for concepting, creating, and optimizing video ad creatives. You will conduct in-depth research into client & competitor ad accounts to uncover new creative opportunities, analyze performance data to refine and improve content, and collaborate closely with our graphic designers to ensure seamless production workflows. You will also play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across all video assets In this role, you will be expected to take extreme ownership and demonstrate autonomous decision-making, while also engaging in proactive communications and collaborative internal strategic planning. Your ability to innovate, problem-solve, and deliver high-quality work will be crucial to our continued growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create Compelling Direct Response Video Creatives:
    • Develop and produce engaging video content tailored for direct-response advertising campaigns, ensuring each piece aligns with the client's brand identity and marketing objectives.
    • Utilize a variety of editing techniques and tools to create visually appealing, persuasive video ads that capture the viewer's attention and drive conversions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative Strategists and Growth Strategists, to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts.
  • Conceptualize and Strategize Ad Creatives:
    • Editing raw content and turning them into high converting creative assets. 
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform and inspire new creative approaches.
  • Analyze Creative Performance:
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of video creatives using in-platform & 3rd party analytics tools and performance data.
    • Identify successful elements, areas for improvement, and content that requires re-editing or adjustment.
  • Conduct R&D into Competitor Ad Accounts:
    • Perform in-depth research and analysis to identify emerging trends, successful tactics, and creative opportunities in the industry.
    • Generate new concept ideas based on insights gained from research, ensuring our clients' video ads stand out in the market.
  • Maintain and Organize Media Library:
    • Manage and organize the media library, ensuring all video assets, raw footage, and project files are properly archived and easily accessible.
    • Implement a systematic approach to tagging and categorizing media files for efficient retrieval and use in future projects.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends and Tools:
    • Continuously monitor industry trends, new video editing techniques, and emerging tools and software to keep the company's video production capabilities at the cutting edge.
    • Participate in relevant training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

You Must Have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a video editor, preferably in direct-response or advertising contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote work environment, showcasing self-motivation, excellent time management, overcommunication with team members and clients via Slack to make up for lack of in-office interactions, and the ability to maintain high productivity and quality standards.some text
    • As a fully remote role, we require team members with high accountability & responsiveness 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative video projects and successful ad campaigns.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut) 
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from competitor analysis and performance data.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with experience leading and collaborating with creative teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
