Director of Paid Social

Beachhead Digital is a boutique performance marketing agency specializing in paid social media buying, growth strategy, creative strategy, and creative production. We are seeking a Director of Paid Social to join our leadership team and take ownership of the paid social strategy and execution for both our agency and our clients. As the Director of Paid Social, you will lead the development and execution of high-impact strategies across platforms like Meta and TikTok, driving exceptional performance and helping our clients achieve their business goals. In this leadership role, you will help build and scale the agency’s paid social operations, cultivate a culture of innovation and accountability, and set the strategic direction for paid social efforts to ensure long-term success for our clients and the agency.
Responsibilities
- Paid Social Strategy and Vision: Develop and oversee the paid social strategy for client accounts, ensuring campaigns align with client objectives, performance benchmarks, and audience needs. Lead the agency’s overall vision for paid social by driving innovation and excellence across all campaigns and platforms. Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging innovations to maintain a competitive edge and deliver exceptional results.
- Paid Social Operations: Establish scalable processes and media buying best practices to streamline media buying workflows. Build frameworks for testing and optimization that elevate account performance and position the agency as a leader in paid social. Drive continuous improvement by fostering a data-driven, adaptable approach to paid social execution.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a high-performing paid social team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Work closely with clients, creative teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns achieve strategic objectives and exceed performance standards.
Requirements
- You have 6+ years of hands-on experience in paid social media advertising, with a strong focus on Meta and TikTok platforms, ideally gained in a fast-paced agency or client-side role. Experience managing 7-8 figure ad spend budgets is highly preferred.
- You have a proven ability to lead media buying operations, including workflow optimization, team resource planning, and process implementation, and excel in setting strategic goals, crafting actionable plans, and leading teams to execute impactful campaigns.
- You thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation, exceptional time management, and clear communication with both team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- You are highly proficient in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager, with a deep understanding of their features, optimization strategies, and analytics.
- You possess strong analytical skills, adept at using third-party tools to transform complex data into actionable insights. Experience with Northbeam, TripleWhale, Amplitude and similar tools preferred.
- You’re a strategic thinker with a creative edge, capable of developing innovative paid social strategies that meet client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- You communicate clearly and persuasively with both clients and internal teams, ensuring that strategies and insights are effectively conveyed and understood.
- You are a proactive problem-solver, tackling challenges head-on and delivering effective, results-driven solutions.
